Hey can someone help me? im trying to use wemod but it dosnet work for the TLD, is it just me?
So I noticed that the cheats for the long dark Xbox version havenāt been updated in over 2 years while the steam version has had updates very recently, I was wondering what I could do about this

Yeah! Easiest thing to do it with are item counts. You can give yourself as many rifle/pistol rounds as you want, etc. Lemme know if you need me to explain how, happy to help 
I confirm that none of these mods/cheats/etc work as of 8/17/2024. Xbox Game Pass TLD. Most toggle themselves off, the ones that do toggle on do not function in any visible/usable way in the game. Any suggested alternatives would be welcome. Thanks!
Hey! Have you tried launching the game initially and waiting until you can freely navigate within the game world before opening the mods by clicking PLAY on the WeMod app? If that doesnāt work, try launching the game first, and once you are on the main menu, open the mods by clicking PLAY again.
Iām also on the xbox version and can confirm none of the cheats work, even after using the two suggested āfixesā. An update would be appreciated!

Iāve also found the cheats arenāt working on the Xbox Play Anywhere version of the game. I wanted to do some testing to maybe help figure whatās what.
I have both the Steam and Xbox Play Anywhere versions, both with the DLC installed. I have the Windows overlay installed and working. I also have the mobile app connected.
I did most of my testing loading the game version from the Windows WeMod app. I played different saves in Survival mode.
I started with the Xbox version. I was able to turn on three of the cheats but not the others. When turning on Unlimited Weight in the mobile app, Iād get the āthunkā sound on the PC and the toggle in the app would go back to Off. The cheat āNo Freezingā would stay turned on, however. I found no change in the game play, though.
With the Steam version, everything works as I would expect. Toggling various cheats in the mobile app brought up an overlay message with the status change and the standard sound noting that the cheat was enabled. The āNo Freezingā cheat reset the temperature status to full and left it at that state. I turned off the cheat, got the overlay message, the āthunkā sound, and saw the temperature status working normally.
Having a baseline for how it is supposed to work, I went back to the Xbox version. There was no overlay message when attempting to activate cheats. The only cheats that would stay toggled on in the app were āNo Freezingā, āNo Thirstā, and āFly Modeā. As far as I can tell, having them toggled on didnāt produced any changed behavior.
For a final test, I used your suggestion of first running the game and then hitting Play in the WeMod app. I found no change in behavior from my previous tests.

Yeah Xbox play anywhere TLD isnāt working with any mods. You can turn a few on but no noticeable effect. Would be cool if we could get this one back on track tbh. I get it might be smaller popularity wise, but a couple of us would be really grateful!
