So after the latest update (v9.9.1), everytime I play a game with WeMod and click the Spacebar - you know the key that is used in almost all games - the app makes a clicking sound. I know it is from the app because it is shown in the sound mixer and there isn’t a sound when the app is closed. Also, the sound isn’t there when I turn off mod sounds in the settings.
I know I can keep the sound off or mute the app all together, but I need the mod activation sounds while playing. Please resolve this issue.
Hello and welcome to the community. Great having you here!
I have tested your report and I am unable to replicate it. Nor have I heard of this happening from anyone else at any point in my 5 years here at WeMod.
There are two likely causes for this, and both are user-sided.
-
You have set up a hotkey in a trainer to trigger when you press the space bar.
- Clicking a hotkey in the trainer, and then pressing a key on your keyboard will assign that cheat option to that hotkey. Make sure you haven’t accidentally done this.
- Alternatively, clicking a hotkey and pressing DELETE will remove that hotkey. Or pressing BACKSPACE will reset it to default.
-
You have accidentally enabled certain accessibility settings on your PC.
- Press Win+i to open Windows Settings.
- Click Accessibility on the left panel.
- Scroll down and click Keyboard.
- Make sure the following options are OFF:
- Sticky Keys
- Filter Keys
- Toggle Keys
- These keys can be activated accidentally while gaming, either by pressing the shift key a certain number of times, or by holding the shift key for a certain number of seconds. Click the three above options in your settings to disable this.

Thank you so much for your response. I tried this with many games and it seems like I am having this issue only with Cyberpunk, I made sure that none of the mods is assigned to the Space key.
Could you please try it with Cyberpunk? Much appreciated.
