Hello wanted to install today’s update and got an error message. I can’t reinstall either. I ask for help

Amongst other things, the main cause of things like this is interference from security software, like an antivirus, even if it was perfectly fine with it before.
This post has troubleshooting for that, and other causes: I can’t Install WeMod / "There was a error installing the application" - #2 by Ravenfyre.
I have now disabled my anti-virus software, it still does not work. I also tried to follow the instructions, but I don’t have these directories
What should I do now?
