Updating a classic save

Ever since it came out I have used the pre cc Dovahkiin save from here

Over the past 3 and a half years I have had a lot of fun with it.

I am hoping some generous soul may be able to make it even better!!!

I am new to posing here (This may be my first post, if not, it is definitely in the first 5) so I am unsure how the mediafire thing works with uploads but the file is in the link above

One of the big things is the fact that this save was made with the 1.3 update. As I understand it, for some of the things they fixed you have to start a new game under the new update to get them fixed. If that is the case maybe someone can work some magic on the PC to fix the things with this save that need to be updated (ex. companions using basic weapons instead of ones you give them)

If that isn’t possible I can come up with a bare minimum list of things I like from this save to put into a new save.

Also, if the following other changes could be made that would be exceptional!!

Whatever the code or codes are to add all the enchantments to my enchanting “spellbook” as it were

There’s no way to fix the issue where followers equip their default gear over what you give them. On the PC version I have to use a PC-only mod that will let me delete all of an NPC’s default gear, and then allows me to re-assign new gear and lock it so they can’t switch. You can’t do that on console. Say you give Lydia daedric armor. Eventually she will take it off and put back on her crappy steel armor. To get her to put the daedric back on, you would have to “trade some things with you” and then give her a random piece of armor, and then take it back. She will auto equip the best gear she has in her inventory. I don’t think it’s a good idea for me to use that mod on a console save, I’m not sure what the effects would be once the save was transferred back without the mod data.

These requests I can fulfill no problem. Except for making the save Pre-CC. I’ve tried it before and couldn’t get it to work, I think it goes with the same issue I have where the intro cart trips out and starts flying under the map.

I can mod the save you linked to, but would highly recommend starting a fresh save, or uploading a save you have that doesn’t have any other modifications. Recently I was using the Dovahgolt save, and started piling commands onto the save. Eventually the save got really buggy and completely unplayable.

So let me know. Either I mod the save you linked me to, you upload a fresh save for me to mod, or I’ll mod a clean save I have after the “Unbound” quest has been completed. I can start you with enough gold to change your face at the Ragged Flagon.

Also, what do you want your characters name to be? I’m not sure if the face sculptor will let you change it.

Do yourself a favor and don’t even bother playing on 360 anymore. The game is 100x more enjoyable with all the mods
