Updating a games TU through Horizon?

Well since my retail console is banned, I cannot get access to Xbox Live. The issue that has occured from this is not being able to play W@W Modded ISO Zombies due to me being on the first TU and Zombies not yet being an option.

Someone told me that I can update a TU through Horizon. I downloaded the Games TU, Opened it up in Horizon and then saved it to my device. When I plugged it back into the console the TU had not been updated. What am I doing wrong? Is it even possible to update a Games TU in horizon?

Yes it’s possible. When you plug your device back into your console move the TU to your console’s hard drive. Also delete the old TU if you have one already.

I don’t have a HDD, so far I have just been playing of the many USB Devices I have. There is also no old TU as the console is banned so none have been downloaded :confused:

Then find a download for the newest one and just inject it using horizon. It will place it in the correct location automatically.

I have tried this, but then when I launch WAW again there is no difference?

Not all TUs have a noticeable difference. Most are to either patch things in multiplayer or support DLC

The issue I’m having is getting Zombies to show up on WAW. The latest TU is meant to fix that for me :confused:

I know MS switched were TU are saved but I believe older ones are still stored in the cache and I don’t know if horizon will place them there or not. You may need to get something like FatXplorer that will let you manually place them in the system cache.
