WeMod keeps asking for network access several minutes to an hour after opening

Title, basically.

Every time I open WeMod, it starts up and then after several minutes or sometimes a bite longer, Windows will popup asking if I want to give WeMod network access.

Is there any way to make this stop?

Sorry to hear that you are having this issue.

Let’s try this:

  1. Open your Start menu, go to Settings.

  2. Type Firewall & network protection into the search box. Select the result with the same name. A new settings window will open.

  3. Click Allow an app through firewall.

  4. Look for anything related to WeMod in the alphabetically-sorted list and ensure both Private and Public boxes are checked for it.

If the issue still persists, try removing WeMod entirely from your PC via the Add Or Remove Programs tool (also found in the same settings as step 1 above). Then re-install it.

Hi, if this is the only way to fix this, then it’s not going to happen. I’m not giving third party apps permanent access to my network.
