WeMod Mobile Remote now keeps freezing on 'Connecting...' screen

This has apparently been reported a few times in the past, but very recently it’s started happening to me. I have WeMod v9.10.3 on my Windows 11 22631.4169 PC and use the WeMod Remote v4.1.0 on my iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 18.0.

Lately when trying to connect my Remote app to my WeMod the screen gets stuck on ‘Connecting’ and never progresses. I have tried fully closing the software on both the PC and the iPhone, I have tried restarting both, and I have tried reinstalling both, but the problem keeps coming back and is unfortunately making the Remote app useless for me.

Has anyone else experienced this issue recently or have any advice as to how I could resolve it? Hot keys and Overlays are a poor alternative to the Remote and I’m hoping that this is something fairly easy to overcome?

Surprisingly (and depressingly) this makes no difference and the result is still a neverending ‘Connecting…’ screen, even on a browser.

If this isn’t a WeMod problem (and if anyone can help me try and diagnose then I’m all ears) then does anyone have any ideas as to what I am doing wrong that has started this unavoidable problem?

I see that during the night (here in the UK) this was linked to another thread with the same issue, and was closed saying “resolved in Discord”. Any chance of actually publishing that resolution? I don’t use discord and aren’t generally awake at 2am so, whilst I’m not suggesting that you’re gatekeeping your solutions, it’d be nice if you could share with the other paying customers, please. Thanks

Unfortunately it’s a bit more difficult as it involves us pairing together and there are time limits on the codes provided for linking. It would be ideal if we could be online together at the same time to troubleshoot it.

My current time is 6:41 am.
