WeMod start up issues

Hello,

I recently installed the WeMod trainer for ‘They are Billions’.

The install completes, and it opens up a box that appears to be loading buttons and details before the whole box goes black.

I’ve tried adding an exception with my AVG, and have even attempted to run the program using the disable gpu command, but each time, it gives me a brief glimpse of the program before the box blacks out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have the latest version of .NET Framework?
Even if you do try replacing it, in case it has gotten corrupted.

On top of that - check your quarantine menu in AVG just in case something has been quarantined there.

Hello Ravenfyre,

Unfortunately, I don’t think that did anything. When trying to reinstall .net, it tells me that I have the latest version of the files and does not allow me to continue.

I’ve gone through a .net repair sequence as well which does not appear to have made a difference.

I have noticed though, that when I start up WeMod, it activates approximately 5 instances in my task manager, which maxes out my disk usage for a little while. When the box blacks out, 2 of the instances close and the rest of the instances go inert until I force a close through task manager.

I appreciate the help.

Thank you for the update.

Did you check your quarantine (or sometimes called “virus chest”) in your antivirus - in case something was quarantined there despite an exception being added?

Any ideas, @frank?

I have checked my quarantine, everything in there are several months old and unrelated to Wemod.
