I was trying to use WeMod but all I got was an infinite loading screen, the app just loads but does nothing in it appears within the window.
Tried:
Uninstalling and reinstalling
Uninstalling, clearing the system registry with CCleaner and then reinstalling.
Downloading the automatic setup (which doesn’t seem to retrieve anything as it says “Download Failed” and I found a manual installer from one off the previous threads.
Running the app with and without admin rights.
Listed the app via the firewall.
Add the folder (all items in the WeMod folder) to the exclusion list.
No idea what Comcast or Xfinity xFi are respectively
None of the above seems to work, but there are processes running in the task manager related to WeMod.
When inspector mode (ctrl + shift + d) provides the following errors:
app-bundle.js:1 WeMod v6.3.4
gtm.js:
1 Failed to load resource: net::ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED api.wemod.com/users:

Can try this one too https://api.wemod.com/client/download
What is your antivirus ?
If that does not work, firewalls that have allowed a specific version of WeMod will freeze on the load after WeMod has updated because the new version will be in a new folder based on its version.
As stated above by @ptondo, this issue is caused by antivirus interference. We’ve seen it a few times before and it has always been an antivirus causing the issue.
Uninstall WeMod via the Add Or Remove Programs feature found in settings/control panel.
Navigate to these two places and, if these folders still exist on your PC, delete them:
