I was having no end of trouble getting Wemod to work. It would open the Steam games fine but wouldn’t transition from ‘loading’ to ‘playing’. After trying all the recommended solutions with antivirus etc, I tried each game I had one by one to see if it was simply an incorrect version issue.
Turns out that games stored on the local hard drives worked fine and anything stored & run from a network drive failed. While Steam works fine with a network storage, for some reason Wemod does not.
So if you are running out of things to try to get Wemod to work - check your games are stored locally.
