Why can’t I start up wemod (minimized) on start-up windows?

I just discovered this app and thinking it is great. Because of it I can play wukong on a difficulty setting I like and make the game available for me. Otherwise the game is to hard since I normally don’t play games like that. Now I have tweaked it on about GoW difficulty and that is perfect.

But there is a huge but……….

Why o why can’t I start up wemod automatically with windows (I know how to do this manually) from the program itself? This feature should be there even as advanced to start it minimized. Why did the developer not include this?

I have a PC attached to my TV. I control my PC entirely with a controller. I even paid for premium so I can tweak and start wemod from my phone. So I don’t need a single mouse use.

If wemod started automatically and minimized I wouldn’t be needed to start the program manually everytime.

I just can’t understand the logic about building a app on a phone that is attached to the app on pc, to make it easier to tweak mods while ingame. And than don’t add a auto start feature to your program. What the hell where you guys thinking?

It will take you prob 10 minutes to patch this in. Why o why would you not include this?

I just can’t comprehend the thought about this design choice.

Please add this to your PC program. So I can stay on my couch as lazy as I am.

Just to add to this: I am willing to pay for the app on my phone. But if I have to start the program everytime I start my PC. I don’t see any convenience added by this monthly payment. You nullify the convenience your own phone app provides by not having this feature.

If I have to walk to my pc. Get a mouse, start the app. It will only be 5 secs extra work to set the parameters. So a monthly payment wouldn’t be needed. I am willing to pay for easy use. But by not having this function you make it harder than it should be.

The reverse of that is also true.
When it auto starts and runs minimised in the task bar, that means those games that auto detect cheats and trainers, will have to go that extra step to close WeMod manually so we don’t get banned from those games.

Thank you for your feedback! We genuinely appreciate your support and your membership.

Regarding the auto-start feature, we understand how valuable this would be, We’re always looking for ways to improve and your suggestion has been noted. We’ll definitely consider it for future updates.

In the meantime, you can set up WeMod to start automatically with Windows by using the Task Scheduler. Here’s a quick guide:

  1. Launch the Task Scheduler app.
  2. In the left pane, click the Task Scheduler Library folder.
  3. On the right pane, click Create Basic Task….
  4. Name the task, then click Next >.
  5. Set the trigger to When I log on or When the computer starts, then click Next >.
  6. Leave the action as Start a program, then click Next >.
  7. Click the Browse… button.
  8. Navigate to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\WeMod and double-click the WeMod.exe application.
  9. Click Next >.
  10. Finally, click Finish.

For people that have this issue, don’t use auto start?

The option needs to a toggle, problem solved. Everyone happy.
