so im thinking about getting fallout new vegas and it says ultimate edition will i have to get ultimate edition for the cheats to work or will i be able to get the normal version and get the cheats anyway
im pretty sure “ultimate edition” just means it comes with all dlc. so you should be good.

It might work. Though the Trainer is made for the ultimate edition. Some cheats might work. No one can say for certain.
I would get the Ultimate edition anyways cause the prize is the same but you get all DLC
