If STINGERR has stopped updating mods, is there a protocol for someone else to take over? Not being critical or hateful, I realise this is probably not their actual job (I assume more of a hobby) and real life responsibilities come first, but if they’ve dropped off the face of the earth and stopped updating anything, it seems weird to just keep us hanging. :-/

I think this is their main job and users pay for premium money. So I would like more feedback and normal deadlines.

Je penses que le système en place n’est pas correct et on en voit la preuve ici même.
La conception et les mises à jour des mods devraient être partagés entre tous les Devs.
La liste affichée et numérotée est trompeuse et absolument pas transparente.

X4 : Foundation n’est pas un jeu comme les autres. Il demande un investissement en temps considérable. Personnellement, je n’utilise que la fonction “Intégrité de la coque illimitée”. Mais après avoir investit des centaines d’heure dans une partie (Sauvegarde avec 45,6 jours de jeu, soit plus de 2700 heures), je ne peux pas me permettre de lancer la partie sans cette protection au risque de tout perdre ce que j’y ai construit.
La mise à jour retardée sur un autre jeu par exemple n’aurait pas ou beaucoup moins d’impact négative.

Give the creator time, X4 is an extensive and intensive code full of lots of script/coding. Majority of us probably have no clue the work required for a feat considering this is the only trainer among many trainer sites that have one for this game.

Mais en réalité, le problème est que le créateur assigné sur X4 (STiNGERR) est visiblement inactif que ce soit sur X4 ou autres jeux et par conséquent il n’y a pas de perspective quant au temps que nous devrons attendre pour que le mod soit mis à jour. Wemod doit prendre ses responsabilités en changeant le système en place afin de permettre à d’autres créateurs de reprendre le flambeau quand cela est nécessaire.

Money cheat still works
La fonction money est inutile dans ce trainer.
En effet, en début de partie, il suffit de mettre l’inventaire avec les “Objets illimités” ensuite de revendre et tu as des milliards à la pelle !
Le SEUL VRAI mod intéressant est “L’Intégrité de la coque illimitée”.

I hear what you’re saying, but I think that we have been pretty patient. The 7.0 update came out over a week ago, and had a lot of fanfare it was coming beforehand. Most of the other creators have kept on top of their workloads, so If maintaining these mods/trainers is an actual job and not just a hobby, then it’s not much to expect due dilligence.
I have no personal coding experience, but speaking to one of my friends who has dabbled in mod creation (yes, I know. eyeroll) updating a pre-existing mod/trainer is different from having to crack the game and design a new one from the ground up, so again it’s not unrealistic to expect some progress by now.
That being said, The update could’ve radically changed things and STINGERR could be feverously working away trying to get things stable and complete, enmeshed in coding frustrations. Or they could have something going on in their life that means they’ve had to step away from modding for a while, we don’t know.
What I do know is they havent updated any of their stuff in quite some time. I popped over to the forums for “Pillars of Eternity” another game that STINGERR mods for and they’ve had the same frustrations as us for a while now and were asking the same questions.
So the question is, how long can WeMod afford to wait before assigning someone else to design a trainer for X4? Does STINGERR ‘own’ the code, or can someone else pick up where they left off? (ok, that was two questions)
I don’t think this community is toxic and If WeMod were to say something along the lines of: “We recognise there has been a delay on updates to STINGERR’s mods; we’re working on redistrubuting their workload and we appreciate your patience as we may have to create new trainers from scratch, which can take some time.” Most, if not all of us would understand.

Non, je n’ai absolument pas dit qu’il fonctionnait en ce moment. J’ai simplement évoqué le fait que la triche d’argent est pour moi inutile. Et ce, bien entendu, quand les autres mods fonctionnent.

Je n’y ai pas pensé mais effectivement ceci pourrait être appliqué par Wemod quand on voit que certains joueurs ont injectés des centaines de points comme @Evilmog (700 points).
Ceci étant dit, personnellement, ce qui m’intéresse le plus c’est que la mise à jour se fasse le plus rapidement possible pour le bien de tous.

Theres a semi randomness of player owned stuff getting destroyed while the unlimited hull is active.

Did a quick testing in the Timelines DLC and found some bugs in Unlimited Hull Integrity.
Shields are getting down, no longer included in this cheat.
Some player owned ships were destroyed, some other stay at 100% hull
Some elements like turrets on enemy captial ships stay at 100% hull and can’t be destroyed.
Some enemy fighters stay at 100% hull and can’t be destroyed

J’espère que tu te portes bien et que tout roule pour toi.
Ceci dit, c’est du travail bâclé et donc très décevant car l’attente et l’investissement des boosts investit par les joueurs n’auront servit à rien puisque ce cheat ne fonctionne pas.
Et nous devrons certainement à nouveau attendre voir investir des points de boost pour accélérer à nouveau une mise à jour.

unlimited items doesn’t work for me and freezing game
maybe satellites doesn’t count? this is was my primal motivation for this option. can we get option for infinite sattelites?
