[/img]No one can argue that the Halo franchise has been around for a long time, symbolizing the Xbox brand. Microsoft’s Xbox Division Head Phil Spencer believes that it has the potential to last another 20 years.
The idea of annualising Halo has been put to the table a couple of times before, but Spencer isn’t really supporting that idea, since he sees that there is a connection between the players and the characters. This is something which not many first-person shooters have.
