Xbox exclusive Screamride confirmed for March launch

[/img]Microsoft has confirmed that rollercoaster building sim Screamride is coming to Xbox One and Xbox 360 in March.

Originally revealed during Gamescom in August, Screamride is currently being worked on by Elite: Dangerous studio Frontier Developments.

Set in the near future, the game challenges players to “break the laws of physics” as they “create a world of thrills” and “ride them to the brink”.

According to the official blurb: "ScreamRide is a full-featured, physics-based coaster game where creativity and destruction are equally welcomed.

“With more than 50 events and three unique game modes, ScreamRide unleashes the power of unbounded creation, addictive gameplay, and extreme destruction.”

ScreamRide will feature three modes - Engineer, ScreamRider and Demolition Expert - and players will be able to share their creations on the Xbox One version of the game (not on the Xbox 360 version, however).

The ScreamRide release date is March 3 in North and South America, March 5 in Asia and March 6 in Europe. In the US, it will cost $39.99 on Xbox One and $29.99 on Xbox 360 - other pricing has yet to be confirmed.
