Xbox Gold subscribers race for free in Forza 5 this weekend

[/img]Hoping that a brief taste is enough to get players hooked, Microsoft is opening its flagship racer Forza Motorsport 5 to all Xbox Live Gold subscribers for the entirety of the upcoming weekend.

Starting at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, anyone with an Xbox Live Gold subscription and an Xbox One will be able to download Forza Motorsport 5 and play the game at no charge until Sunday night. The reams of DLC released for Forza Motorsport 5 won’t be available during the free trial, but players will have access to all of the game’s core content, including career mode races, multiplayer modes and the game’s full suite of vehicle customization options.

Additionally, any US residents who spend their weekend racing through Forza Motorsport 5 will be entered to win a three-day trip to the Forza Motorsport Grand Prix Road Racing Class at the famed Bondurant School of High Performance Driving. No purchase is necessary to enter the sweepstakes, but you will need a valid driver’s license to attend the course.

You’re late, Bradders got it this time.

Haha  On Major Nelson’s website it says this starts at 12:01am on thursday.

They need to do this more often. Give FULL ACCESS to retail games and if you decide to buy it , you keep your progress and achievements.

It’ll take some people the whole weekend just to download the game lmao
I like the concept though hopefully this becomes a feature associated with xbox live gold.

I’ve been wanting to try this game out. I already made a mistake with Need for Speed and Im not gonna make a mistake with Forza.

It’s awesome they are doing this. It’s just too bad I’m not that good at at sports and/or racing games. Hopefully I can get 5%-10% of the achievements.
