5 Blue Screens of Death

Hey hoping someone can help me out here…
Today, in less than 5 hours, I managed to get 5 blue screens of death.
The first one occurred while I was on Facebook. What was running at that time were the essential startup processes and services, along with Chrome, Malwarebytes, Norton, Puush, Apple Cloud, and a Logitech mouse program.
The second occurred while I was restarting my computer, it happened at the boot screen (place where it says stuff like "Press esc for boot menu, F10 for system recovery, etc.)
The third one occurred while completing a Malwarebytes scan (was so closed to finishing).
The fourth occurred again while browsing Facebook.
The fifth occurred in the middle of a League of Legends match.

I don’t seem to be doing anything special, and it has never occurred before, up until now. I pretty much do the same thing everyday - browse internet, play League of Legends, listen to music, stream a movie/TV show.
It has never happened before.
So yeh, someone help me out.

What kind of pc do you have I now how to fix it with Windows XP uninstall mircrosoft security essentials it crashed mine or when the computer is strating at the loadin screen rapidly pres ALT F10 at the same time. This will reset the computer so get a usb and get your files.

I have an HP Pavilion a6554f PC running Windows 7 Ultimate (not the legit version lel). A friend of mine told me to do a system recovery to an earlier period. I did a system recovery to 1/6/15 as that was the only other one.
I forgot to mention, in the past 3-5 days I have torrented 15 items - 10 TV shows and 5 music albums (all from trusted sources), have installed DivX and Piriform Speccy. I also tend to stay away from the HP updates + Windows updates.

Edit - The full system restore is not possible, cause millenniums ago my brother accidentally formatted the recovery drive. I’m scanning my computer with Malwarebytes at the moment, will edit when it finishes.

Edit 2 - No threats found from Malwarebytes or Norton.

This should help identity what is causing them.

BSOD isn’t always related to software it can be a hardware failure just as easy.

Hey guys, had the same issue today. BSOD upon browsing internet. Second BSOD occurred while PC re-booted from first, it occurred at the boot screen where hotkeys are normally spammed to get to certain menus. This then threw me into a boot-loop. Once I got out of the boot-loop I tried to boot my PC up, it seemed to turn on but would not boot. I heard the fans spinning on the inside, and the power light on the power button was on, but the screen and keyboard would not turn on at all. I began to suspect this would be a motherboard issue, but I have computer knowledge.

During the first BSOD, the error I was able to memorize was SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION.

Here’s the log from the program Hova provided me with -

Looks like a kernal error in your drivers, more specifically the ntoskrnl based on the logs. That is a very important part of your operating system.

I’m curious as to how these errors came about, but for now you will have to log into safe mode on your computer and see if you can update them from there.

And to make sure it isn’t an issue with another driver that your kernal is getting bad pathways from, you could just try to update all of your drivers in general.

The thing is, Windows has its files protected and is able to auto-fix them, so the fact that there is an issue with their files is the concerning part. Do me a favor and tell me your anti-virus and please post any more BSOD that you get to see what I can do about it.

I’ll do this ASAP, just got another blue screen lel.

I think it’s probably from something I torrented, as this all started after 1/12/15, and this was the date that the last of my torrents finished downloading. I’ll keep you updated.

Edit - My antivirus is Norton 360 Premier Edition, and I also use Malwarebytes (daily scans happen) for my own safety. I’m pretty smart and use common sense when it comes to downloading and opening stuff, I only download/open stuff from trusted sources.

This is the fourth one that’s been document with BlueScreenView

Update: I believe I successfully updated the drivers, time to wait and see if I get another blue screen. Had to do it all through device manager as HP.com is no help because they do not recognize my computer due to a pirated version of Windows 7 that is not recognized. Will inform if any other blue screens occur in the next 2 days.

Hopefully you will be fine. If not though, I look forward to a reply .

T_T just got another one. I’ll edit this post with an update of the log created once my PC gets out of the boot-loop.
Any other ideas?

If you updated driver and it is still having errors then I am leaning more towards it being a hardware issue so I will be looking for a something specific that would deal with your kernel, such as a memory allocation issue which would be your RAM.

Alright, I’ll look into that. I remember I had read a thread on another forum regarding this issue and they suggested taking out each individual RAM stick and trying to isolate the one with the problem. If anything I’ll look into a local technician to fix it for me or getting a new computer. I’ll still update the previous post with the log in case you’re interested. Thanks for the help.
