Is it best to unlock one achievement with timestamp, then sync it up with xbox servers. Then continue with a new achievement.
Or can I unlock multiple achievements changing the time, then sync them all at the same time when the time has passed when I unlocked the last achievement.
I would say only unlock around about 5 or so every 2 days just to be safe and make sure you put timestamps on them that look legit e.g donât put a timestamp on a â100% Game completionâ achievement that is before a â1st Mission completedâ achievement.
And donât put 2 minutes on timestamps of mission completed achievements as it doesnât take 2 minutes to do a mission does it !
There is always a chance of getting caught but I donât think theyâll find out unless you unlock a lot of achievements at once.
Donât be stupid and unlock all the achievements on a game that people can see your progress on as they might report you.
Is it safer to unlock achievements with timestamps or offline? And will it be as legit as if you actually played the game and unlocked it?
It doesnât matter really. Any modding has a risk of being detected. Offline Acheivements are not so obvious though so Offline Acheivements are technically âsaferâ.
How many achievements is it safe to unlock each day? 5? 10?
I have unlocked a whole gameâs worth of Acheivements and not been discovered yet. But others will tell you they were caught after modding just one.
Do microsoft actually care if someone mods a pointless number? Like they put alot of effort into catching them.
Of course they care. If they didnât there wouldnât be a Terms Of Service Agreement you must agree too.
Can microsoft in the future make a advanced software and find out that you modded an achievement 2 years ago?
This is Microsoft we are talking about here. As technology grows and newer/better ideas are made, improvements will be sure to follow.
It is always a chance of getting caught, I know. But if you only mod games you have played (not through the game adder) unlock them with timestamps. Unlock them in the right order and donât unlock a mad amount at once. Is there a slim chance of even getting caught?
You answered your own question⌠âIt is always a chance of getting caught, I knowâ.
Is it safe to unlock an achievement if it has a public leaderboard? Example Limbo. Everyone can see your % in game. If I unlock 200/200 and got 0% completed. Is that a way to get caught?
Shouldnât really matter. You will either get discovered in-game or outside of it.
Another question. If you make a new account. Mod all your gamerscore you want (around 100k) then sign up with a silver account, then gold. How can microsoft see if you modded your gamerscore, when all achievements has been unlocked offline. And you did not unlock any online achievement?
Will look a little odd just signing up with a 100,000GS as a starting figure donât you think?! They can see how long you have been registered, thatâs what the Tenure is for.
Last question! lol. If you unlock an achievement with timestamp and you are not actually online on your xbox, can microsoft find out? You basically unlocked an achievement online when beeing offline on your xbox. If you know what I mean.
Itâs more than likely Microsoft can see a log of all the times and dates you have signed in. All they will have to do is cross match when the Acheivment was unlocked and when you signed into LIVE.
I actually edited my post becuase I didnât think anyone would read everything. Thank you so much Troy for answering all my questions!!!
One last question and Iâm good to go.
If I change the time from 2/5/2015 6:35:58 to 2/5/2015 8:35:58 (two hours) then I sign into xbox live two hours later, is that how you do it?
It will sync the moment you connect to Xbox LIVE regardless of what time or date you set. If your tying to make it look more realistic then modify your Acheivements on your profile and leave it overnight then when you sign back in the next day, a sensible amount of time has passed to make it seem reasonable for the amount of extra GamerScore added/earned. But obviously itâs not realistic to achieve 5000GS in the space of 8 hours!?
Sorry for all the questions, I really appreciate your help.
But does this mean I have to unlock an achievement with timestamp, wait 30 minutes IRL then unlock another achievement, etc⌠and the day after I sync them up with xbox live?
No. You can Unlock multiple Acheivements at a time. You can set each time-stamp 10 seconds apart or 10 days apart, itâs your choice. Spacing certain ones out can help.
For example; you wonât get an Achievement for 500 Headshots and then the Acheivement for 1000 HeadShots just 10 minutes apart! So itâs a good idea to space these types of Acheivements apart.
But remember some Acheivements can unlock one after the other. Like completing a game on Hard Mode sometimes unlocks the Acheivements for Easy and Normal Mode literally seconds apart.
If you try to think how long it would take you REALISTICALLY to get an Achievement then try to display those time frames on your time-stamps, you should be ok. Microsoft know that there are Casual Gamers (less experienced players who play games for fun and not to try and set world records), and then there are Hardcore/Pro Gamers who want to get everything to 100% and looking crisp! Then you have people in the middle of those two categories who give maximum effort in some areas like gaining all Acheivements in a certain game but are not bothered in others.
I am still not sure if I want to risk this, but Iâm annoyed that a achievement for playing a game for a total of 50 has not unlocked, even though Iâm at 55 hours.
What game / achievement is it? I literally started using gamesaves for my first time yesterday and itâs much better and safer than the achievement unlocker.
I remember a similar achievement where you had to play the game for 24 hours and I didnât unlock it before playing 30+ hours. Try staying in-game over a night and see if it unlocks!
You can add as many games as youâd like amd unlock all the achievements if you wish, but be very careful, when I started messing with this I got a perma ban followed by a console ban
If itâs just the one achievement, use Horizon and pop that little sucker
Achievement Unlocked = No More Stress
Now, on ya bike and get on with it mateâŚ
You know you wanna do it, go onâŚ
