I’m asking for the Age of Empires II Definitive Edition mod to be restored

The trainer for Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition has been retired because it no longer functions and cannot be updated to work safely.
The game’s developers implemented a single-player anti-cheat system that automatically forces the game to crash whenever a trainer is detected. This crashing is a deliberate mechanism triggered by the game itself.
Restoring the trainer would not change this outcome—it would only result in immediate crashes for anyone trying to use it.
If you’d like to see trainers supported in the future for this game, we encourage reaching out to the game’s developers directly regarding their anti-cheat policy in single-player modes. Unfortunately, there is nothing our team can do on our end to bypass this game-side restriction.
