Does the “Set resource” affect the AI allies/enemies as well?

The AI in Age of Empires games, since AOE2, is already known to cheat, whether you use a trainer or not.
The AI is programmed to challenge you. So if the game detects you have a lot of soldiers, the AI will automatically receive a lot of resources from the game to train their own large army to give your soldiers a reasonable challenge.
Also note that when you go up an age, particularly in Skirmish where there are more relaxed age advancement rules, the AI rivals will very quickly do the same, because the game cheated and gave them the resources to do so. It’s nothing to do with the trainer, it’s just the way the game is programmed.
It’s the game’s way of making sure you don’t get bored by keeping you occupied.
The game is unplayable when launched form WeMod. The update is effecting all gameplay, not just specific mods.

I concur on this. I tried multiple times to launch a skirmish vs AI and the game just crashes if WeMod is loaded. No cheats enabled.
