Arma II: Dayz mod - How to use the flashlight?

I have the flashlight in my inventory but I can’t equip it and use it. I have tried the scroll wheel and other things but it is no use. Anyone help me with this?

I can equip it but can’t use it, i have a feeling you need to find batteries for it.

You can equip it try right clicking the flashlight when it’s in your toolbelt.

also press L to activate it.

When you right click it in your gear the only thing you can do is remove it from the tool belt.

I have no use for the flashlight but you should be able to equip it by either right clicking it or moving it out of your inventory and back in…

L turns it on. And you should be able to equip the flashlight, Try not to use the scroll wheel.
