So I have some money I don’t mind spending, but I want to spend it on a good horror game. I know all the good games are on the Xbox One, but sadly I don’t have one, yet. Anyways, If you guys have any suggestions on what game I should get, please reply!

I’m also looking for a good action/spy game. Something like Tom Clancy, or whatever you have in mind.
In terms of survival horror, I would recommend either Metro 2033 or Metro Last light. They are both very good games and are set in an apocalyptic Russia, which is pretty cool in my opinion. I would also recommend Resident Evil 4 HD, one of the best in the series if you ask me. You could also get the newly released Resident Evil HD Remaster which is considered to be the best in the series. Alan Wake (the first one) is another great survival horror game for the x360, and I would highly recommend it as well.
What horror games have you already played that you enjoyed?
I have a resident evil game, I think it’s the 6th? I’m not sure. I’ve heard Metro is pretty good too. I have Alan Wake and loved it. I also have Aliens: CM. I was thinking of buying The Evil Within, I heard a lot of good things about that game. The game I actually enjoyed was Alan Wake. Resident evil is good, but I never really got into it.
Resident Evil 6 is pretty much the farthest you can get from what Resident Evil is known for. In that case I would definitely recommend you check out Metro 2033, its the first one in the two game series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am currently on my second playthrough of the Evil Within, and although I was praising this game before it released, it was ultimately very disappointing for me. The story was lackluster at best and really didn’t make a whole lot of sense. It was also hard to get scared with so many weapons at my disposal, except on hard difficulties ammo is harder to come by which is more like traditional Resident Evil. Getting it on the cheap side would probably be your best bet, it’s not a bad game by any standards, but it’s definitly not a trend setter for the genre.
