Best iPad and iPhone repair tools?

I work at staples and right now my store is 1 of 30 in the company going through the test program for idevice and Samsung repairs (#1 out of those 30 stores btw :sunglasses:)

The president of sales and operations came in and told us to make a list of what tools would be needed for this so that’s why I am here

The ones that they gave us do the job, but would be best to get some better tools

Really the only thing I need is something for the iPad screen residue. When you take off the screen to replace it, it has old adhesive we try and clean but alcohol swap don’t really do the trick. Need somethig thin, and works really well. Right now we’re just scraping it off with a dull tool (don’t want to ruin anything with a sharper edge) and it takes about 30+ mins sometimes just to do that

Any other useful tools you may know of would be best too

I can’t assist with tool recommendations but I really want to know how to open and repair my iPhone 5. I got a semi-function charger port and Lock Button.

EDIT: I swear I looked on Google last year sometime and found nothing showing how to open an "i"Device. Now I iust ran another search and found what im looking for! I thought Apple was on ‘lock-down’ with this stuff?!

Ifixit sells a toolkit for $70

Ehh, full tool kits I don’t need. Have the screw drivers, but anything to make it easier. Mainly need something that can remove the iPad adhesive quickly and safely for the ipad

Most tutorials use a paint dryer and a spudger
