Borderlands 3 Cheats and Trainer for Steam

This needs to be updated. Since DLC4 dropped Activating cheats is crashing the game with a UE4 exception.

We are unable to reproduce any crashes. 3 of us have tested the game, please make sure you are using the correct version of DirectX.

the trainer no needs update, try push the “play” button when loading screen on the game

Thx, put the game on DX11 help me a bit but the game continue to crash when i use some cheats, like the super loot rate when i use it before some bosses.

Alright everyone. seems to be a lot of confusion going on, I’m not saying I’m some expert or anything. but here is what I’ve seen when I’ve been using the cheats. so far I havent had any errors since the (STEAM) update, again I can’t stress this enough. I don’t have the Epic version so I couldn’t tell you what’s going on for that. Anywho full diagnosis (at least for me) is that ALL cheats are currently working this might not be every steam user, now with that being said I did run into a point where super loot wasn’t working so I ended up restarting both steam and wemod just to be sure, same result popped up. tried restarting one more time and instead of just immediately booting up all cheats at load screen which probably isnt what should be done, I waited to boot my character in game. then start loading the cheats one by one. that being said, everything is currently working. This is just a simple diagnosis. I’ll leave the true pros to diagnose and say otherwise.

It would be nice if Super Jump Height was not a fixed value (3x-5x) but rather “stackable” based on the number of times the jump key was pressed while in air. There are several areas with different heights in game where I would like to jump and access and sometimes quest based objectives require a single jump action. The “stackable” jump should be convenient in all cases. I know at least one cheat table that already implements it so it should be possible to incorporate it in the trainer.

There’s a fairly good reason it’s set up the way it is. Borderlands 3 is loaded with ‘death walls’. There’s also a ‘death ceiling’, where the character really shouldn’t be interacting with the skybox. There IS a way to get a crazy high jump, but I couldn’t reproduce it because it requires a specific build, that is also somewhat of a meme build, made by a popular BL3 youtuber. Probably best to avoid the situation.

The existing Fly Mode option already provides a way to approach the death walls and ceiling whether deliberately or accidentally. My point is that it should be left to the player to decide how much jump height is desirable in any given scenario. The current 5x (or so) jump height doesn’t make sense when jumping indoors where it could accidentally trigger a trap or alert an enemy if the player forgets to disable the jump height cheat option beforehand. The cumulative jump stacking approach would require no such intervention while still supporting any permissible height.

Does anyone know if there’s been an update today? I’m only asking because as soon as I enable a hotkey the game crashes with a fatal exception which didn’t happen earlier. I’ve restarted the game and wemod but it continues to happen.

DX12 crashes for me too when activating the trainer, DX11 works flawless.

Noticed lately that whenever I tried to turn on almost any of the hot keys they reset to off almost immediately. Is anyone else having the same issues?

This trainer stopped working. Started with crashes - now it simply says that the trainer is not compatible with the latest version of the game.

Seem to be getting this code of errors whenever I use a cheat now. Doesnt really matter which one either. Was fine this morning when i started a new save. But continuing on this happens going forward. Especially when enabling something, then disabling it (example being unlimited skill points)

EDIT: Below just happened when actually playing the game. Was able to activate the cheats i normally had on fine. Shot 1 enemy and it crashed with the below errors popping up.

The trainer needs an update. The Hotfix (2020-10-15) broke it.

The trainer is working correctly. If you are having issues you need to make sure you are using DX11.

The Direct 11 seems to be faring well for me, thanks for that bit of info because I was curious on the crashing as well. so cool on that. Now the only thing to wonder is how the new content in a couple weeks is gonna hit the trainer.

I can confirm as of tonight when trying to use the trainer again on BL3, it does in fact crash the game still after activating cheats. The moment you start to walk, it crashes immediately after starting them. STEAM version
