Can't get the mods to load, wemod can open without mods

I’ve been trying to get Wemod to load mods into my steam games but it won’t. Ive tried multiple solutions and it still won’t work. Wemod can find the games easily but once I try to open the game with mods it is stuck in endless loading and nothing happens. I left it running one time for almost half an hour and it was still loading. Need all the fixes you can offer and yes this is on a newly installed windows system. I went that far

Try adding these WeMod folders as an exception to your antivirus

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\WeMod

and

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

This is usually, but not necessarily always, caused by interference from a security program on your machine or network. :slight_smile:
