When launching the game or even trying to use Wemod after starting the game it doesn’t work. When I launch from Wemod app it just says “we’re having trouble loading cheats into your game”. I have tried disabling my antivirus and it still doesn’t work.

First, which version of the game do you have [Steam, Uplay, etc.]?
If you haven’t already, switch your release channel to BETA in WeMod:
After the change, WeMod will prompt you to restart the app.
