College Algebra Homework help

EDIT: I found a website that solves everything for you: http://www.tiger-algebra.com/

#3 and #4 are the problems I need help with. This is simple factoring problems, but I want to make sure I get the right answer.

#3 - I don’t know if that is the correct answer. I subbed it back into the problem, but it didn’t work for some reason.

#4 - Kind of stuck on how to factor this. There suppose to be fractions in this one?

~ If someone could help that would be awesome!

3 is wrong and 4 use the quadratic equation to find your answers. You will get one positive and one negative. Use the one that makes sense.

3: What is 2/2? You should have 1±isqrt(2)

Yea I noticed I was missing the 1 in #3 thanks.

#4 I believe I got the answer without the formula L = 5 W = 10

That is what I got also.
