Hi, I’m just trying this out.
Goal: Move Modded PC BL2 game saves to Xbox One.
I have borderlands 2 for Xbox One and PC. I used gibbed to create xbox 360 files of my characters on PC so I can move them to the 360 via usb then Xbox one Via the Cloud.
I have the saves formatted according to Gibbed as 360 saves but cannot get them into Horizon.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Am lazy so stealing this from se7ensins:
- Open Horizon
- Select your save file and extract it to your preferred location on your PC.
Optional: Make a backup of your save - Drag and Drop the Save0000.sav file into Horizon
- Click the “Contents” tab and extract the SaveGame.sav file.
- Open Gibbed’s
- Click “Open” and select Xbox as your platform in the dropdown menu.
- Select your SaveGame.sav file.
- Mod your save as you please.
- Save and Replace the SaveGame.sav
- Drag and Drop the Save0000.sav file back into Horizon
- Click the “Contents” tab, Right Click the SaveGame.sav file, select “Replace”, and select the SaveGame.sav file you just created.
- Save, Rehash, and Resign
- Save To Your USB Device

The Origin of the saved games is Steam version of BL2 on my PC. I am not exactly sure how to do step 2 if the files aren’t on the USB to Begin with.
Did you really think xbox 360 and pc saves were interchangeable?
Anyway, you are on your own if you want to try making a steam save work. You would save a lot of time by just getting an actual xbox 360 save.
You can’t use a steam save and put it on your XBOX. They’re not interchangeable
