Not experiencing that myself.
The last time I ran into sound issues in a game, it turned out to be a Windows Update that had reset my default SteelSeries audio settings and custom sound presets.
Iād recommend checking the following:
Audio Device Settings: Make sure your default playback device is correctly set in both Windows and any audio software (like SteelSeries GG).
Sound Mixer Settings: Windows sometimes mutes individual apps; right-click the sound icon and check the volume mixer.
Game File Integrity: Verify the integrity of the game files via the Steam launcher in case something got corrupted.
Background Apps: Try running the game without WeMod first, then launch WeMod after the game has fully loaded.
So far, Iāve had no issues using WeMod with in-game audio or dialogue. While I did have sound issues before, it had absolutely nothing to do with WeMod - Windows Update was the culprit, having reset all my default settings, in my case.
Hey Leute. Ich hab ein Problem und hatte bis gestern mega fun mit dem Game. Aber nun taucht immer die Fehlermeldung Loading/Game/D12/Maps/Entry/EntryMap failed: error . exiting. Wäre echt nice von euch wenn mir jemand weiter helfen kann. Da wenn ich es auf Steam starte es ohne Probleme läuft. Ich habe es auch schon bei Steam gelöscht und wieder neu installiert aber bei wemod startet es nicht. Und noch ein fettes thx an Fling und alle anderen für die Arbeit.

Hello, I am encountering the same issue that āSingha64ā is encountering when trying to load Dead Island 2 (steam version) through WeMod. After launching Dead Island 2 through WeMod, WeMod launches Dead Island 2 in Steam, and progresses through load screens up to the āAMD together we advanceā screen, then a pop-up window is displayed with the ERROR MESSAGE āLoading /Game/DI2/Maps/Entry/EntryMap failed: error. Exiting.ā At this point, the only options are to select āOKā in the pop-up window, or āXā to close the pop-up window. In either instance, Dead Island 2 closes and does not successfully load. I was able to repeat this error multiple times immediately upon system Restart. Also, Dead Island 2 loads with no issues when loaded directly through steam and without invoking the Dead Island 2 mods through WeMod.
Disable the game booster feature in Razer Cortex. This is the solution that has been shared multiple times in the official external forums for the game.
Razer has decent hardware. But their software is a mess.

Hello. Iāve the same problem, but no razor software or device. When I launch the game from Stream, it works, form Wemod, get error Loading /Game/DI2/Maps/Entry/EntryMap failed: error. Exiting. Everything is up to date.

Bei mir das gleiche vorher einige Tage ohne probleme gelaufen seit ein paar tagen die fehlermeldung. und ich hab auch kein razer cortex. aber ich habe mich schon mal umgesehen da es weder wemod noch fling interesiert werde ich mir einen anderen trainer kaufen. kostet zwar 10 euro im monat aber da funktionieren die games wenigstens und man bekommt eine rückmeldung
Potentially dumb question, but I was specifically hoping this mod would let me max out fuses as consumables. Iām guessing(?) that the āitems donāt decreaseā cheat would make it so one was all I need, but Iām currently at zero. Is there something Iām not understanding? Unlimited maxed out everything but fuses.
I unfortunately think I answered my own question. When I was at 0 medkits, the unlimited cheat did nothing. Must have to have at least one present in your inventory for it to work.
Sorry ābout that. Wonder if itād be possible to take anything already discovered from zero to max, but I figure that may load you up with materials/consumables you havenāt unlocked yet. Either way, hope this helps someone.
