ever since i got the new update the game has been totally unplayable for me, the second i load it up it freezes, i tried deleting the update and getting it again 5 times now, it still hasnt worked, i can use other characters fine but i had a ton of good stuff on my main n really want him. has this happened to anyone else? how do i fix it?

Maybe attempt to clear your Xbox 360 system cache and then redownload the updates.
why is it dead island keep on freezing when i try to load chapter 5 mix blessing?. anyone got the same problem?

Anyway, I think it’s just the game in general. I’ve been experiencing freezing. My Xbox froze twice when I attempted to connect to someone’s game. Also I had another couple of short freezes when starting a new game up.
My issue was when in co op, it would totally freeze to the point that not even the controller worked, i had to manually turn off/on my console…but it has all stopped after clearing my system cache
How old is your xbox? Have you tried playing any other games lately?
You may get the E74 error soon if other games are freezing, too.
