I just bought the sunbreaker gauntlets and bought an exotic item. Sadly, it wasn’t for my class. The gauntlets jumped me up to level 25 if anyone cares. Now its time to start hustling for that exotic rocket.
Apparently yesterday you were able to buy strange coins from Xur. 2401 glimmer or 77 spinmetal or 77 spirit bloom for 1 strange coin. People were abusing it so they got rid of it.
I’m going to wait until they sell some hunter or warlock helmets before I buy anything. If they made a void version of the sunbreakers I would buy them in a heartbeat.
I bought the sunbreakers last night and it also bumped me up to lv25. I almost have enough motes of light to pick up the exotic engram, I hope it’s worth it since the emblems and warlock bonds @ the speaker definitely aren’t.

I got lucky and got Sunbreakers off a drop on my first farm run 
But I’ve never gotten anything incl legendary since aha.
I got the ingram gavem e some **** for another class so I ended up scrapping that exotic chest I got.
bought an engram off him and it gave me a titan class armor rather than a warlock class armor so i started a titan just to use it, 10 hours of play later now level 16 and i’ll push for level 20 after i get some sleep.
Wow, I’ve gotten a few pieces of Walock armor after decrypting them from a Legendary engram, but I just stored them in my vault and figured I’d touch them later down the road…whenever I decide to create a Warlock class.
As for items from Xur, I purchased the Hunter chest piece on Fri. and spent majority of Sat. cave grinding for Special Coins, but fell short of getting the rocket launcher by just one coin. Eh, after crying for a few minutes, I figured I couldn’t get too upset since I managed to get my hands on a few legendary heavy weapons that seem to be very good for what they are; also heard from a friend that he got a better launcher after completing the Raid so maybe I’ll eventually get my hands on that weapon.
Wow, he’s gone now. Had just enough to purchase the rocket. Wish someone made a thread saying that he was back on Friday…
he will be back next friday:P hoping with different things to sell, averyone already have those things and sunbreakers, etc…we want something new

When did the weekend become Friday and Saturday? I was told that he was here on the weekends, so I didn’t bother to look for him. Saturday hit, I made a thread that he was there. Nobody said nada on Friday. That tells me “find’em your damn self”. But I do agree on the new items.

So, I play a hunter, and I purchased the Mask of the Third Man last week, and the Lucky Raspberry is just terrible.
I bought the exotic rocket launcher, and then I bought the exotic engram…I then got the Lucky Raspberry from the engram.
Then later on, I proceeded to dismantle the Lucky Raspberry since I was hoping to get something like 10 ascendant materials (preferably shards). What I got from dismantling it was in fact 3 Ascendant Shards, which is on par with legendary gear, so the moral of the story is to never break down exotic gear because you can get the same amount from standard legendary gear.
If he lasted Friday through Sunday than I would have been able to purchased the launcher because, like I said previously, I missed it by one coin and had no time to farm another.
Well, now you know; even though a lot of people figured out that he spawns on Friday and leaves on Saturday. (leaves at 5am EST Sunday morning)
I purchased the Lucky Raspberry to just increase my Light, Defense, and for the achievement, but how is it terrible?
I play as a hunter too and although I’d prefer Mask of the Third Man if I had it, Lucky Raspberry is NOT terrible. I fully upgraded mine, and it gives you first of all the highest defense for any kind of item (chests always have the highest defense rating, so this exotic has a very high defense when fully upgraded).
Also, when you spawn (PVP or PVE you have your grenade INSTANTLY CHARGED, Arcbolt grenade has an extended range/area of effect to chain to enemies, and you can carry extra Heavy ammo. Good chest piece IMO
This and the fact that the bonuses that come with the chest are amazing, for me personally:
I found him on Saturday, had enough to purchase an Exotic Titan helmet, booted me to level 26 1/2 and got me The Life Exotic Achievement
If I had to choose between Mask of the Third Man or Lucky Raspberry (which I did have to), then I would go with the mask.
My grenade charges quick, is already charged at start, and my super takes less energy so it can be used longer.
Besides that, the raspberry looks pretty dumb to be honest.
