Same here as well. I started a new game and tried to see which option would crash the game and the skill points seem to be the culprit for me. Corrupted 2 character saves after editing the skill points.
Based on some Mods in Nexus the Characters don’t get deleted but fail to load in the fetch due to the skill points ( or other things you update) being above an “expected” amount. The Error shows number of skill point 91 when max permitted is 84. So it seems the game enforces a set skill number when loading a character
does that apply for individual characters or all at once since i just got my save and world screwed after adding 4 skill points when i wasn’t close to 80+
