I see some of your multipliers are set to 0. I think you should really set all those to 1 for better compatibility. This might be the cause of your issues.
Another odd thing I just found out the equip bug doesn’t happen top me in dq 2 only dq 1. If need more screenshoots let me know.

I haven’t researched that yet for this game. Not sure if monsters drop these items. Maybe there are a couple of secret spots that also have them.
Yeah unfortunately they’re temp item in the game only. Does the item rate count towards chest item: there’s literally one of each left to be found in my game. So if I have it set to 5x rate will I find 5 of that item when I open a chest ?
Yes, Item Gain Multiplier will give you 5 of them if you set it to 5 and open the chest
