got it, i’m passing it along to the team for testing and review, will get back to you once there’s news.
Update
The testing team confirmed all mods are working as intended, to make it work on your end. We
recommend using the most recent trainer version. This can now be located under Mod settings > Mod version. Also, please try to Verify the Integrity of Game Files and see if it persists. If it does, launch the game first once it has loaded and can move in-game, switch to WeMod, and hit Play.
One of the mods seems to cause assemblers to not work, either “No Crafting Material Requirement” or “Instant Mining/Gathering”, I am on the latest mod version
Edit: It seems if the assembler is made before activating the cheat it works
Edit 2: It seems to have stopped, tho it was one of the cheats before… I wonder, one sec
Edit 3: Ok it only happens on a new game if you haven’t made a working assembler yet, you can just fix it by shutting down the game and getting back on without cheats running and just reactivate them after walking around the world a second or 2 to let your assemblers start
DSP had few updates recently, while mods seem to work there is an issue with autosaves when one is enabled (i used fast mining gathering and fast crafting). I thought it were mods that caused it but since I play without wemod everything works fine.
The Instant Research still isn’t working for me. I’m currently researching “Combat Drone Damage Lv9” and it’s progressing the same speed regardless whether the mod option is enabled or not.
The “Unlock All Components & Buildings” doesn’t seem to include the newer Dark Fog items/buildings.
Hi! Just checking, are you using the latest mod? Also, if you haven’t already, can you start the game on Steam first before clicking Play on WeMod? Then try to use the mods again and let me know if there’s a difference.
I’m using the mods dated 2/9/24. I usually have the game up and running before started WeMod, and I just tried it again with the same results. Some of the other mods like “Unlimited Items” that I used worked.
I haven’t tried any early-game research with the “Instant Research” or the “Unlock All Components & Buildings” so I’m not sure if they work in early-game stuff.
Thanks for the confirmation. I’ll check with the testers. They might ask for your game save since they usually test the trainer on a new save. I’ll let you know.
Hi! I have an update. The testers weren’t able to replicate the issue. The mods work fine on their end. They were able to upgrade combat drone damage to Lv10. They also said that the new dark fog items and buildings can also be unlocked using the Unlock All Components & Buildings.
That’s weird, I must be missing something on my end or there is an issue with my save. I’ll try starting a new game this weekend and see if those mods work for me then. Thanks
I just did a test on a new save and it looks like the mods kind of work. The instant research only seems to work when you have the research items in your inventory and it greatly increases the research speed instead of making it instant.
The Unlock All Components & Buildings lets me manually craft the dark fog items, but they don’t appear as a selectable items in my inventory screen, and the dark fog research items don’t appear in the research tree. So the mod kind of works since I can manually craft the items.
There appears to be a walking speed bug when using the mods. It happens seemingly at random, but also presents itself if you’re tabbed out of the game and are typing something and hit some of the toggle keys as you go.
Basically, the movement speed slows to an absolute crawl, like your speed is set to 0, or you’re moving without energy.
Toggling the movement speed does speed you up, but when you reset it to default or start game without WeMod it just goes back to the snails pace. Specifically at 1m/s when the default is 6m/s Almost like it resets your walking parameters to 0 as the default, regardless of any upgrades you have.
If needed I can provide the save file this has happened on. I may have to chuck it into a save editor to find out exactly what’s going on.
