i launch it from the folder where i added that steam_appid file

Have you tried to add .text to the name steam_appid to see if it changes somehow.

No change, i even tried going offline with steam. No luck there.

Aight, since you’re seeing the EAC logo, it seems like something about how the bypass is being set up. If it’s not too much of a hassle, please remove all the changes made, verify your game files on Steam, and try again.

  • Go to the game’s folder
    (Steam Library, right-click Elden ring Manage > Browse local files), and you should see the .exe file.
  • Create a new text file in that folder.
  • In the text file, type “1245620” (without the quotes) as the content.
  • Save the text file and name it “steam_appid.”
  • Launch the game directly using the “eldenring.exe” in this folder

How does the teleport cheat work?

Actually, is there even a teleport cheat? I can see the “Key Location Teleport” cheat, but all it does is open a map of the location of items.

Hi, from what I know, it only allows map teleport if the game supports it. Otherwise, it opens the map as described. Thanks!

How do you tell if a game supports map teleport then? Cause I’m not sure Elden Ring supports it.

In Elden Ring, teleport is not available. However, if a game has a map that displays a teleport option, it is supported. Something like this.

Hi, question. If you go offline toggle one hit kill then turn it off and go back online will that trigger EAC and detect that I used mods?

Just wondering. Why does fly mode kill me even when there are no hostiles around?

I followed all the steps multiple times for turning on the game with the steam_appid.txt. I have reinstalled wemod a couple times. The wemod app does not start elden rings no matter what with the mods. As of January 3rd, 2025, this mod does not work at all.

I’m a little confused here. If Elden Ring doesn’t support it, then why does the button exist on the Elden Ring cheat page?
