Hey, today I tried to get some watchdogs 2 mods. I used the one by STN. I have a number of errors. I have set the launch options in both windows and Uplay (that’s what I use for watchdogs2), but when I press play at the top right it opens the watchdogs loading image, and it takes longer than usual. Eventually, I get an error that says “We’re having trouble”. I have selected the “Watchdogs2.exe” that is located in the bin folder, so I have no idea what is causing the issue. I have no antivirus, and windows defender is off.
If you’re using STN’s trainer, this is why it isn’t working for you. STN’s trainer is for the Steam version of the game.
If you have the Uplay version of the game, you need this one: Watch Dogs 2 Cheats and Trainer for Uplay.
If you have the Uplay+ version of the game, you need this one: Watch Dogs 2 (Uplay+) Cheats and Trainer for Uplay.
Different store versions have differences in the game engine code which requires separate trainers to be made for them.
