[/img]Fallout 4 will run at 1080p and 30 frames-per-second on everything, it has been revealed.

Fallout 4 director Todd Howard confirmed the news to Digital Spy at this year’s E3 gaming expo.

“It is 1080p on everything,” he said, before confirming that it would run at 30fps and not 60fps.

Fallout 4, which is set in post-apocalyptic Boston, is the first new entry in the role-playing series since 2010’s New Vegas.

Players will be able to build structures and defences within the game world, while mod support has been confirmed for PC, followed by Xbox One.

It will still be 60+ on PC.
I keep New Vegas and Skyrim locked at 50 to allow for some more room, but while still being smoother than 30, and I have both at 1440p.

He most likely meant on both consoles, as it is an impossibility for PC.

There’s no way they can lock that for PC since its a simple INI tweak after all.

Whaaaat? No 60fps ? :confused: I mean 1080p is just fine, but 30fps… it won’t ruin the game but 60fps+ would be better.

i read/heard somewhere that they could potentially get it to run 60fps, but it would definitely drop in parts of the game, and they wanted a consistent frame rate

All I know is that I should probably spend my money upgrading my PC or I’m going to be on 30 FPS anyways

That’s one of the reasons I got it for the x1. I don’t really care if its 60fps either so… there’s that as well.

No one from Bethesda has actually confirmed this. Pete Hines tweeted that this was not stated anywhere.

Wonder why not keep a mid frame rate? Like 45 or something?

Bethesda just confirmed it is 30fps on console, but pc is not limited

Their gonna turn it around and make themselves seem like gods and savior of the earth when they announce “You asked for it we gave it to you play the vault in 60FPS!!!” Its gonna happen

Oh well. 30 fps doesn’t bother me one bit.

Crap, I’ll have to play it 30fps then, bcs I don’t have money to buy a decent PC :cry:
