Excellent suggestion. Here’s to hoping someone skilled on here sees this and wants to take it up. The leaked version is out, so I believe they may already have what they need.
Also, this is just a question I was wondering and I’m not sure if anyone knows the answer. Is it possible to swap out which locusts are available in OverRun? Say, can I swap out the Grenadier for a Theron? Of course I couldn’t play online after having done this, but it would just be for offline bot matches. I’m not sure if there’s any way to incorporate this into the Horizon editor as I know nothing about modding console games.
It would be pretty cool to show drop down lists for the models and attacks / weapons of creatures in Overrun with the ability to swap them out, kind of like you can do in campaign. Then again, I don’t know the limits of an editor without using a JTAG.
Since it’s basically a RIP from Gears of War 3, the storage and checkpoint are the same files so I believe this wont be hard to resolve.
However, I believe you’ll need your profile as well.
Nevertheless, great suggestion and I’m sure it’ll be easy. Even if the Horizon developers are unable to add it straight away, I’m sure Philymaster will.
The saves are not exactly the same lol. First off there is no block length pointers now so you need to parse the whole block and not skip it, which is actually easy but I wonder if Cheater can make the tool without looking at GoW 3 as I know he didn’t make that one.
I hope this gets added.
A UI similar to Halo 4’s editor would be nice, It should have options for wepon skin unlocks, armor skins, as well as unlocking playable characters,and medals.

Yes you can haha. Its in the gears 3 stats editor. you can change your versus k/d kills and deaths as well as for campaign and horde etc…
no you couldn’t, for a specific playlist you couldn’t only your overall stats
