maybe halflife 2 cheats have been updated so what wemod can’t find halflife 2 on my pc
so I still can’t play this game with wemod cheats !!! I have been playig halflife 2 without
cheats for days now so why can’t wemod find it ???

The game recently had an update, and so did the trainer. Please check the latest version and try again. Let us know if you’re still having issues.

Hello, I’m having problems starting the game with WeMod.

1- Starting Half Life 2 directly from Wemod’s “Play”: “Close the Game and close WeMod”

2- Starting the Mod after the game is open: "Closes only WeMod.

Could you help me understand what I’m doing wrong?

p.s.: game version updated by Steam “20th anniversary”.

I’ve installed the half life 2 update game folder into the wemod file folder, if wemod can’t
find it now it never will this is a sad case on wemod…

well I have figured out how to get into the game with cheats but unlimited health does
not work.

Hey! Have you tried launching the game initially and waiting until you can freely navigate within the game world before opening the mods by clicking PLAY on the WeMod app? If that doesn’t work, try launching the game first, and once you are on the main menu, open the mods by clicking PLAY again.

A few days after my problem, it started working perfectly, even in episodes.

To make it work, do the following:

1- Start the game normally through Steam!
2- Choose the campaign you are playing (HL2, HL2-EP1 or HL2-EP2)
3- Start a new game or continue the one you were already playing
4- Pause (ESC) the game and in WinMod click on “PLAY”, just wait for it to load and that’s it, it will work normally.

One-Hit Kills is not working as expected

  • I can one hit the enemy => As expected
  • The enemy cannot one hit me => As expected
  • But the enemy can one hit my teammate (Alyx for example) => Not expected

When you are using the airboat, unlimited health stops working. In order for it to work correctly I found I had to ditch the airboat to stay alive. I forget how far in I was when that started happening. Other than that I haven’t had a problem so far.
