Actually it does support it but i think you have to edit your bios so its on SATA or turn off AHCI.
Why not just use the desktop app?

I don’t think there is any desktop app that can write HDD firmware.
There is a reason HDD Hacker was written in a way that only allows it to be run in DOS mode.
