ok so long story short. I got a free tV from a buddy of mine and when I got it home and hooked everything up, it tells me “no signal” I have tried all the hdmi ports and all appear to be dead. So I hoping therr is such a thing were I can use the hdmi cable from my xbox and hook it up to a converter that I can run component with. Cause I heard xbox only supports hdmi and nothing else.
its quite a headache and such a nice tv just to throw to the side.
Plus I cant game without it. Haha
anyone know if there is such a cable or maybe even a converter.
Preferably walmart or gamstop that carries them. Hate to wait and order it online. 
there is, but it’ll look like garbage cause you’re going from an analog signal to a digital signal.
Yeah radioshack has one but its not what im looking for. Ebay and amazon and flooded with hdmi to 1080 component converters. Its just like I said a headache. I just wanna continue game but I dont wanna play the new dying light game in a ****ty 240p -.-
Have you tried any trouble shooting at all?
Well I have tried ones that did nothing to my tv. So no I havent tried troubleshooting
You can definitely get HDMI to component converters.
I was going to get one for my capture card but I don’t think it will make a difference.
1080p on component cables is pretty decent on 360 but I think it would look poor on the Xbox One but if you have no option left…
