how do i fix the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process
Do you have the file opened in another program? If you do, close it and try again. Also give us some more information, like what the file is and what you’re trying to do to it.
im trying to use the gears of war 3 player editor
it says the gears checkpoint is being used by another process
“F:\Content\E0001C5F487467894D5308AB\00000001\GearsCheckpoint”
I say trying “Ctrl+Alt+Delete” click on task manager and see where it’s being used. Plus you can close it right from Task manager.
