This thread may already exist, and I appologize if it does. Now to my question.
I downloaded Horizion. Watched the tutorial on how to mod (Single Player) GTA 5. (Not online player)
I plug my external hard drive into the Xbox 360 - move my game from the main hard disc, to the hard drive (jump drive)
I then plug the jump drive into my computer… open the GTA game… click it… and drag the (profile save) to the grey area to the right.
I then click the mod button, and it shows that I have modded everything (max stats… 2 bill dollars)… and I click save… When i put the jump drive back into my xbox, and move game back to the hard drive… turn off the xbox, then back on… The original save is still there…
Am I doing anything wrong… Please if you intend to help me, list step by step instructions…
Thanks in advance!
It Sounds like you’re doing it properly. I’ll list exactly how I do it for you.
- Move your save from your 360 to your jump drive, don’t copy it because the original save will still be on your hard drive.
- Insert jump drive into your computer.
- Open Horizon.
- Click on the Games folder in the Device Explorer and locate your GTAV save, left click it once and click the Mod button that appears near the top of the Device Explorer.
- Mod your save how you would like.
- Click the red save button and wait for the message telling you that it was saved, rehashed and resigned to device.
- Close Horizon.
- Insert your jump drive back into your 360 and move the save back to your hard drive.
- You should now be able to load and play your modded GTA V game save.
And remember, you should always make a backup of your original save just in case something goes wrong.
I think I found my problem… My son had been saving the game alot, and there was (2) saves of the identical game… I deleted one, and moved the other… Then my save took, and work… Thanks!
