House Flipper 2 Cheats and Trainer for Steam

@JokyJoky I did check it yesterday, but saw zero problems. It doesn’t crash on my end, and other’s that have tested it had no problems either. So it’s a bit hard to fix a problem that I’m not having, nor can get it to happen.

Maybe it requires some special conditions to have the game to crash? Game setting, OS?

I’ll try the latest game version + latest trainer version + 0 cheat enabled this night.

@CupDK You need to use this trainer and press NUMPAD 3 to enable Developer Console. Then press F11 in game and you will see all of the Dev Console and it’s commands. I use the Money section from there. Click the Add Money line and type in the amount you want next to that line that appears, hit enter and voila, you have money. Just make sure you save properly for it to stick.

yea I don’t no why but it crashes my game every time weird

Are you playing Sandbox or the normal mode? And what specific mods are always active when the crash happens?

Well, all that tells me is that it’s a problem from the game itself and not the trainer.
If no mods are active, then the trainer is doing nothing, so it can’t be crashing the game.
And I do also see lots of reports of crashes in the Steam Discussions. And a crash I got once seemed to come from something else that has nothing to do with the trainer. So it has to be a problem from the game that causes crashes at random points.

The problem always occurs when activating the trainer, because if you play without the trainer the game continues normally. Now I played a long game without activating the trainer and it never crashed. I tried to reactivate a cheat, namely the instant wipe, and after 10 minutes it crashed. If, as you say, the problem is the game, it would crash even without the trainer, so the problem is the trainer itself which, when some cheat is activated, crashes the game after about 10/15 minutes.

@RoachGRE thanks so much! but how do i “save properly”? do you mean when presssing ESC > Save?

@CupDK Pretty much just a regular save but if you restart the game to test, make sure to properly exit the game and don’t ALT+F4 to quit. I was eager to try and the first time I added money to my game, I saved but then pressed ALT+F4 to quit and the money was gone. SO then I did it again, saved, quit to menu and then quit the game through the normal prompts and it seemed to have saved. I now have 50 million in my wallet lol

I did the test of “Game + CE + Speedhack + 1x speed” last night, no crash.

Again I enabled the trainer w/ only “dev console” cheat and game froze after about 10 mins.

Without trainer my HF2 has kept alive for over 24 hours. I’ll do more tests on it.

The trainer may affect the game even no cheat is active, e.g. speedhack hook.

I once met similar problem in Sailing Era:

  • Game + trainer enabled + no cheat active = crash
  • Game + CheatEngine + speedhack hooked + 1x speed = crash
  • Game + CheatEngine + never check speedhack = OK

I’ll try CE speedhack later with HF2.

I was also having the same issue with the set experience, I would just save periodically until it was maxed.

I am also crashing when I hit game speed (did so accidentally), or movement speed.

did you set the experience all the way to the maximum? because i might do that, and just spam save, whenever i get a new skill point, until it freezes

i am also thinking of, whether i should use CE for the game or not, when WM crashes for us, and creator claims, that there’s nothing on their end. but strange that they don’t believe the reports, we all are coming with here :thinking:

Same here with the crashes. Used it a couple of days ago. No issues at all. Played the last day an most of today with no issues. As soon as I boot the trainer a few minutes ago insta crash, Same no matter if I boot the game first or boot the game with the trainer.

It works pretty stable if you hook the trainer and run around in one location for short periods. However, sometimes when clicking on objects, or transitioning between zones it will cause a crash if the trainer is still hooked even with nothing enabled.

This is the easiest way to reproduce it.

  1. Starting from main menu or your beginning house, enable the trainer.
  2. Hit Tab to open up the menu for going to a job, and go to Emails.
  3. Travel to a job. If it didn’t crash in the load screen, walk around for a few minutes, do a few tasks, then hit Tab, and go to Houses.
  4. It should crash now.

The only workaround I’ve found is to enable the trainer, do what I need to do with a few options, then disable the trainer and unhook it from the game before doing any saves or loading into another map.

As WhiteTrefoil mentioned, this appears to be around the “Game Speed” option. Maybe just remove the speedhack hook until there’s more info on why it causes the game to crash?

I tried with CheatEngine + Speedhack last night but the game survived for over 8 hrs, so I guess this time it maybe not speedhack’s problem.

P.S. My test steps:

  1. Start the game;
  2. Load the save;
  3. Do nothing else, just enable trainer;
  4. Leave the computer and go to bed;
  5. Check the game next morning, usually 6-8 hrs later;

I also played the game without any mods enabled and just clicked on (play) on the Wemod app without any mods on/enabled and the same freeze happened again after around 30 min, then played the game for 2 hours but this time started the game from steam without opening Wemod app or enabling any mods from it and the game ran fine without any problem

Even following those steps I can’t get it to crash.
But I have removed Game Speed. Check if it does still crash.

Don’t want to jinx it, but that seems to have fixed the crashes for me. So far no crashes and I’m about an hour into playing. Gone through multiple loads and tried a few things that would consistently crash the game before.

Hopefully that was it. But lets give it some more time, and see if it doesn’t end up crashing at some point. Or if other users still have the same issue.
