how do I add music from my pc to my xbox flash drive my hard drive is the one xbox made not a normal hard drive but I want to add music to it

I know you can burn your music on a disc and load it up on Xbox and it will let you rip the CD

how do u add music without BURNING a cd I want to take music from my pc and put it on my hard drive
What I did was I removed the Xbox configuration from my USB and just dragged the .mp3 files into my USB folder, not into Horizon.
If you don’t want to remove the Xbox configuration you could download youtube videos as.mp4’s and put them into Horizon and they will automatically go into the Videos section.
un like normal ppl I don’t have like a normal sandisk flash drive I have the xbox hard drive that is made just for xbox

that’s a cool flash drive anyway but what im trying to say is u know how u burn a cd to a flash drive it lets u play games and plya music at the same time how would I go to my computer and add music to the flash drive for free and without burning a cd
If I understood that correctly, you could go here to download a YouTube videos .mp3 file by going here. All you need is the url to the YouTube video.
no im not talking about adding a youtube video I want to add music to my flash drive so I could play a game and listen to music
Just add music to a flash drive that is configured for PC use, and then pop it into your 360 and you can play music off it while your playing games. I do it all the time, just not right now because I’m posting this message.

my flash drive is a 16 gb but when I plug it in my pc its says I can only use 384kb free out of my 16gb :l
You need to format your flash drive for pc use. What that also does is make it so you cant use it as an external storage device configured for the xbox 360 use.
reformat it in the xbox custom to half or whatever u want then the rest is for u to use for music or videos
Does Xbox say it has 384kb free? If it is close to full you wont be able to add any songs on it. I’d recommend just getting another flash drive and having one dedicated to music.
FYI if you format your drive to use it on a PC all of your data on the drive will be lost.
