How to put Games on Demand on a Disc and Play

do u need a flashed xbox or a jtag

^^

apparently duel layered discs and or dvd+r discs do not work with this method

Edit: Thank you OP, trying this out now.

I have DVD-R but its only 4.7 gb. the DVD+R Only comes in dual layer. What can i do for the disc?

dvd-r 4.7 works fine. as long as the game isnt more than 4.7 gb (about 4.6 or less) you can use it

Do you know any discs that are DVD-R that are more than 4.7 gb? xP

yeah you can buy like 8gb dvd-r discs but i think theyre duel layered and im not sure if its the duel layered portion of the discs that makes it not work or if it is the +r that makes it not work

ill buy some 8gb dvd-r dl and see if it will wr or not

Alright, I’m downloading Cod4 now. After its done what do I do? Because I have a slim and I cant use the transfer cable… I’m not sure how big Cod4 is and all I have is a 2GB flash-drive. So if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated!

well cod 4 is about 6gb and i havnt figured out how to use discs for over 4.7 because either Duel layered discs dont work or dvd+r dont and i cant find any discs that are 8.5gb that arent dvd+r dl so unfortunately you cant right now. If someone could link me to dvd-r 8.5 gb discs i could try then

Man I wish DVD+RDL worked I have 10 of them right now =[

i know i had like 30 of them. i bet they could work if you burned them differently but not sure. i only have 1 i can spare atm and need that for something else

This sounds pretty cool, but not very useful for someone like me that has a 250GB HDD.

Do you need to sign into the profile we got with the game?

yes. This is just to save you a few gb of space on your hdd. still have to do the same methods

Can confirm this does work, but it will lag sometimes.

yupp. but the lags are bearable imo

i still need to get some dvd-r 8.5gb discs to confirm whether you can use it for games like cod and what not. unless theres a different way to burn them

2 Questions.

Do you HAVE to own the game on the marketplace for this to work?

and do the copies of these games work on Xbox Live?

I have Crysis 2 on my desktop right now, It weights 5gb but I have a DVD-R of 4.7, Will it work or no?

Also, When I create an ISO, I press start and it says that its an error, Do I need to check DVD or CD?

no the disc isnt big enough. and do you get the error when burning the disc or what? if so then its because the disc isnt big enough
