The secret is the games have cavity’s.
Specialist have looked into this and solved this problem.
Just by the use of tooth paste.

i use peanut butter, and it cleans it enough to install the game, then im good to go for good

Won’t fix actual scratches.
Deep scratches have lost data that won’t and can’t be recovered.

Well the polycarbonate can be buffed to a like new finish. It takes a professional machine like the one I use at Play it Again Disc Repair Disc Repair, Play it Again but some play and trades also offer the service to local customers. Where i am they don’t so I started a mail in service. I got sick of wishing toothpaste could work.

Think of it like refinishing wood floors, just sand off a little and they look like new. Of course this can only be done a limited number of times but how many times do you want to re-purchase a game?
