I tried a lot of the uninstalls for Win 10 and finally! The above for Windows 10: is correct until you get to the 4th bullet. Tapping uninstall showed Horizon window with “applying”, but nothing was happening and you could only “cancel installation.”

  1. Settings (click bottom left Win 10 icon to get to Settings)
  2. click System
  3. Apps & features
  4. to the right, scroll to VMware Horizon Client
  5. click modify and then remove.
