Hello everyone, i dont install the app yet. I find videos of how the app works but i couldnt find any referent to steam. Because the steam opens automaticly when i open a game, inclusive if im disconnect from the internet, inclusive in the case of that the steam app it sincronise when i connect to internet. I get banned/blocked if i usted infinity in my steam games?

you will only get a ban if you try to cheat online or in some of the newer Call of Duty games

There is no reference because there is no chance of you getting banned from steam. I don’t know where you got this info from.
It is pretty simple, cheat in online game -> ban. Cheat in single player games be it from steam,origin, gog etc, you won’t get banned.

What makes you say that? The anti-cheat just blocked the trainer, otherwise we would have been flooded with “I got banned” threads.

@naruske360 If you are still having problems you can try Ricks (gibbed) Steam Achievement Manager "http://gib.me/sam/"which could help you in this case. This tool can support any game that has achievements on Steam, even if it is not listed directly in the dropdown box. Simply type its ID into the editable dropdown box text and refresh. Cause I’ve been using this tool for ages without getting banned once, thou I never have or ever will mod any online achievements, cause i know that the companies crack down on it quite a bit, so i don’t even try except for borderlands series.

SAM is risky, I recommend to stay away from it and others like it. Aaaaand that is coming from a person who unlocked all achievements for a few games a couple of years ago and was never caught.

I wouldnt say SAM is risky. “No one”. At least that came out with it.
Have been banned from it. There was one time something happen.
People unlocked Team Fortres items through Achievements.
Although they just got a reset. Nothing happen after that.
So maybe in the future something will happen.
Maybe not. Either way, it seems like Valve dont give a â– â– â– â– about achievements at the moment.
I dont think they will start banning people before achievements start to be worth something other than bragging rights.
And bragging rights is worth nothing when most people cheat.

Ok i suppouse if all say its ok, but about achievements i dont care xD, prefer pass the games without any worry about the achievements. But about the trainers, a just want to play in some games just in single player like dark souls 2 scholar of the first sin, of course i was thinking create another character for level up normally and play it in online. Thanks, now gonna pass outlast (great game) and going to scare me like hell xD

Usually for me what I would do is only mod the single player campaign achievements and not the multiplayer cause they can and do check the server side to see if you actually did earn it on any of their servers.
