We strive to keep our trainers up to date with the latest game versions. WeMod automatically detects which version you have installed and activates the mods accordingly. So there’s no need to worry about which version of the game you have!
When I began the game, Raziel had infinite life, but upon getting to William the Just’s tomb, where Raziel begins to disconnect because he’s essentially about to create a paradox, and the Soul Reaver awakens… it stops working entirely… continuing on to the save point, saving, then quitting entirely out of the game and starting it back up, once at the menu hit play on WeMod and upon loading back into the game it should be working… but it becomes finicky when you activate and deactivate the Reaver sometimes… not every time… I can’t replicate it with consistency, just know it’s buggy… something about the Reaver and how it drains you of life constantly while in the Material causes the trainer’s injected code for Infinite Life to just… stop… turning it off and on again won’t work, and neither does deactivating WeMod and hitting play again… once it knocks that code out of memory you have to completely close the game out and restart
Make sure you hit Play once you’re in the menu… either the selection menu, or the game’s own menu, I can’t tell which works best because in either case this happens… and sometimes it just won’t work at all and I have no idea why aside from the possibility that section of code is still in the RAM even after you close out and kill the process entirely… it still seems to linger sometimes…
It works perfectly fine with Soul Reaver 1, but then it isn’t the Reaver that’s sapping health in the Material, it’s just being there in that game, and that particular feature is entirely stored in the RAM, so one persistent trainer injection and at worst you get hit once and immediately heal lol but for Soul Reaver 2 there is something else going on under the hood, and I think the health system POST awakening the Reaver is half in the game’s code and half in the memory, and if I remember correctly getting a trainer to persistently alter the health string required more than a little leg work… which is why I believe there was only ever one trainer for the original PC version of 2 that actually could do that… the creator had to write a batch file you installed into the game’s directory or something, it’s been a long time… so, that’s probably why this trainer only works UNTIL you get the Reaver in 2… so I think this trainer’s creator (Fling I think?) only jumped into the game briefly to confirm it was working… probably didn’t know there was a huge hiccup
As I said, afterwards just finish the citadel, leave the stronghold and swim to the save point and save… then close the whole game and WeMod completely, then load the game up to the menu and then load WeMod and hit Play… it SHOULD work… sometimes… but it’s going to be a nightmare of repeating this process throughout the game until this issue gets resolved (if it does)
